Scottsdale mayor’s chief of staff takes shot at councilman’s CPA license

Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky’s new chief of staff took a shot at Councilman Barry Graham’s livelihood in what Graham calls a political move.

Lamar Whitmer, who was not Borowsky’s chief of staff at the time, filed a complaint with the Arizona State Board of Accountancy against Graham’s Certified Public Accountant’s license July 3. The complaint was dismissed Oct. 20 by the board.

Whitmer took over as Borowsky’s chief of staff Oct. 6.
