Incumbent Mayor Thomas Schoaf and a trio of top contenders maintained strong leads in Litchfield Park's municipal election following updated ballot tallies released Wednesday, July 22, by the Maricopa County Elections Department.
The updated statistics, posted at 10 p.m. with 99% of the community's ballots counted, show candidates competing for key local leadership positions tasked with guiding future development, municipal services, and long-term planning while preserving Litchfield Park's distinct small-town character.
County officials noted that while nearly all tabulated votes are in, results remain unofficial until the formal canvass on Aug. 4.
