Mayo Clinic building 60-bed inpatient rehab hospital at Phoenix campus

Mayo Clinic is adding a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital to its north Phoenix campus.

The planned $70 million hospital was approved for a preliminary site plan through the city last week. Officials plan to break ground on the new hospital in December and open in summer 2026.

The rehabilitation hospital will be operated by Brooks Rehabilitation, treating patients after life-altering brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and other complex conditions.
