Maxine "Mickey" Davis Madden, 83Of Sun City West, was received into the arms of Our Lord on Dec. 18, 2006, surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 17 1923 in Peno, S.D., Mickey grew up in Woodburn, Ore. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John E. Madden of Sun City West, and children Michael Madden of Prescott, Don Madden of Orlando Fla., Mary K Courtney of Portland Ore., Pattie Saenz of Santa Ana Calif., Dennis Madden of Louisville Ky., and John Madden of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Theresa Hennessey of Portland Ore.; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She served in the Marine Corps in 1943 and was a successful real estate broker in Southern California, serving as president of the East Orange County Board of Realtors and active in local politics. She moved to Sun City West in 1996 where she immersed herself into the life of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, serving as chair of the welcoming committee and as a Eucharistic Minister.
