SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mattamy Homes, North America's largest family-owned homebuilder, has acquired 59 finished homesites in Legacy Place, an established master-planned community in Glendale, Arizona. The transaction closed Oct. 29, 2026.

Located near 75th and Northern avenues, Legacy Place is inside Loop 101 and provides access to employment centers throughout the West Valley and metropolitan Phoenix. The area is also close to established shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, including Peoria Crossings, Park West, the P83 Entertainment District and Westgate.

"Legacy Place gives us an opportunity to add new homes in an established part of the West Valley where much of the surrounding area is already built out," said Don Barrineau, Division President, Mattamy Homes Phoenix. "It's a great fit for Mattamy because we can bring thoughtfully designed homes with a range of floorplans and options that give buyers greater choice in how their home works for them, and we think that will complement what's already available in the community."

Mattamy plans to offer five single-family home designs ranging from approximately 1,565 to 2,692 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and two-car garages. The collection will include both single- and two-story designs.

Residents will have access to Legacy Place's existing amenities, including two pools, a playground with covered pavilions, bocce ball courts and open turf areas. Pioneer Community Park is also nearby and includes a fishing lake, athletic fields, a dog park, playgrounds, a seasonal splash pad, picnic areas and walking paths.

Home construction is anticipated to begin in February 2027, with sales expected to open in April 2027. The first homeowners are anticipated to move in beginning in June 2027.
