MaryLee Gatten, of Peoria, went home to be with her Lord and husband Ted Gatten on October 20, 2017. MaryLee was born April 19, 1932 in Webster SD to Mildred and Rudolph Johnson. MaryLee left this world on the birthday of her love of her life Ted Gatten. She left for home in peace and comfort. Her five sons were all able to be with her at the end of her life here on earth and holding the hands of three sons when she graduated to heaven.MaryLee was a beloved grandmother to 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her legacy is love, patience, faithfulness, humor, loyalty, perseverance and a strong will. Public visitation will be on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351.A celebration of MaryLee's life will be on Friday October 27, 2017 2:00 pm at Grace Bible Church of Sun City, 19280 N. 99th Ave. 85373.
