MaryAnn Wasinger 1931-2018.MaryAnn Wasinger, 87, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018, in Sun City West, AZ.MaryAnn was born February 18, 1931, in Odin, KS, the daughter of the late Mary and Rudolf Weiser.She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Wasinger of Hays, KS; two daughters, Sheryl and Joann; two sons, Mark and Greg; four grandchildren: Amy, Jared, Easton, Mary; and one great-grandchild, Alyson. Awarded a piano scholarship to Marymount College, MaryAnn was a talented musician who played in the symphony orchestra. She was also the church organist. An inspiration to young people, MaryAnn taught piano lessons for many years. Her career extended to working for United and Frontier Airlines in Colorado. Once retired to Arizona (she never could hold still) she worked at Safeway for many years in Sun City West, earning admiration and the nickname "Bubbles" from her co-workers.A loving wife, mother and an excellent cook, MaryAnn was passionate about preparing meals for family and friends. Over the years, she enjoyed having people over and watching sports. She was a Broncos and D-Backs fan who rarely missed a game. Funeral services and a reception honoring the life of MaryAnn will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th Ave., Sun City West, AZ.
