Marudhavanan: Fees are not acceptable but mandatory

I am writing to you in response to Sandra Lena-
Autry’s letter (“Objecting to continued fee increases,” Sun City West Independent, Aug. 17, 2022).

I heard next year the property assessments will be $509 for each member. If they are not paid, they will immediately deactivate our rec card and then we will not be able to use the facilities. In addition, they will charge a 10% fine.

They are saying these facilities are perks and if you use them or not you must pay the membership dues for the Recreation Centers of Sun City West.

This is not acceptable to everyone, but there is no option for us.
