Martin M. Schainman, 71Martin "Marty" Schainman, born Oct. 4, 1936, in Newark, N.J., passed away July 14 at Hospice of the Valley. Mr. Schainman lived at Deer Valley Gardens in Sun City West for more than 30 years and survived two wives.Mr. Schainman was a retired truck driver for the U.S. Mint. He was a Navy Corpsman and belonged to the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War and National Rifle Association.Mr. Schainman was a proud man who made many friends wherever he went. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rhoda and Norman Shames of Arizona; nephews, Daniel Shames of New Jersey and Sam Shames of Arizona.Services were conducted July 16 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ., 85024.Donations are asked to be sent to Hospice of the Valley Arizona.
