Martin Kaggen

SUN CITY WEST - Martin Kaggen (Marty), was born Aug. 9, 1925 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Marty passed away peacefully on Dec. 1, 2016. Marty retired from New York City Transit Authority as a supervisor of Iron workers. Along with his wife, Rita, he moved to Arizona in 1989, where he enjoyed many activity clubs, as well as making service contributions to their community such as The American Legion Post 94, Volunteer liaison for VA hospital and Sheriff's Posse of Sun City West. He is survived by his children, Susan, Warren and wife, Suzanne, Jill and husband, Jim, and Judy; grandchildren, Zachary and wife, Lindsay, Eric, Lisa, Brittney, Ben, and Cecelia (Cece). Marty was known in his community to "Do it His Way"…and he did as he danced and celebrated with his family at a wedding in Georgia just 2 weeks prior – what will now be known as "His last Hoorah"… Donations can be made in his memory to: American Legion Post 94, P.O.
