SUN CITY WEST - Martin Holm passed away on Nov. 12, 2013. Martin was born in Chicago, Ill. to Sever & Hazel Holm. Martin was a dedicated patriot who served in all four branches of the U.S. services. He met his true love while stationed at Castle AFB, CA. He was employed for 40 years as a communication technician with AT&T. He retired in 1995, and Martin & his wife moved to Arizona in 2001. Martin was a member of the Marine Corps League, White Tank Mtn. Detachment #1246, Surprise, Ariz. Martin is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, of 58 years; daughter, Ginger (Wayne) Marx, Bartlett, IL; son, Ronald (Kimberly), Elk Grove, Ill; sister, Shirley Elk Grove, Ill.; brothers, Irving, Des Plaines, Ill., and John, Sun City West, Ariz.; grandchildren, Russell and Jacob Holm, and Sarah and Jackie Zyrkowski. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Virginia; and brothers, Leroy and Ronald.
