Martha Hubbard ThomasonMartha Hubbard Thomason of Sun City died May 2, 2007. Born March 25, 1926, in Malden, Mo., she graduated salutatorian from Oklahoma A&M, now Oklahoma State University, with a degree in accounting. She married Howard Thomason on Jan. 29, 1949, and the two enjoyed an interesting life together, living in 18 different cities. Mrs. Thomason earned a pilot"s license and was president of the Oklahoma chapter of the 99"s, an international organization of licensed women pilots that featured Amelia Earhart as one of the 99 founding members. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard, and her brother, Pete. Survivors include her son, John; daughter, Anne and her husband, David; grandchildren, Tony Pyles, Katy Pyles, Jenny Pyles; great grandson, Josiah Knox Pyles.
