Mark Lamb announces candidacy for U.S. Congress

Former Pinal County Sheriff and failed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mark Lamb has announced he is running to replace U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs in Congress.

Lamb declared his candidacy for Congressional District 5 on Saturday in Queen Creek after filing a statement of interest with the Arizona Secretary of State’s office on Oct. 20. He is gathering signatures for his petition.
