SUN CITY WEST - Marion R. Petersen, formerly of Wauwatosa, Wisc., died Sept. 23, 2016. Wife of Gordon M. Petersen, with whom she recently celebrated her 58th wedding anniversary, she was a longtime volunteer, a civic leader and a pioneering saleswoman. Marion was born July 4, 1932, in Calvin, N.D., the daughter of Yates and Norma (Anderson) Mountain. She was a graduate of Langdon, N.D., high school and Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. In addition to her husband, Marion is survived by her children, Scot Petersen and his wife, Lisa Kosan, of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., Susan and her husband, Dr. Michael Jacobs, of Pensacola, Fla.; her brother, James Mountain and his wife, Olga, of Long Beach, Calif.; and her grandchildren, Max and Simon Petersen and Sarah and Michaela Jacobs.
