The Maricopa County Elections Department has completed testing of equipment ahead of Tempe's upcoming city council election on March 8.
Logic and accuracy tests are performed on all election equipment before and after an election takes place to certify the accuracy of all tabulation equpment and accessible voting devices, according to the county. The tests were aired on a livestream on Feb. 24 so voters could see them in real time.
The elections department announced it was a succesful series of tests on its Twitter.
