Maricopa County Supervisors nix Scottsdale deal for water to the Rio Verde Foothills

No deal.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously March 3 to turn down the city of Scottsdale’s proposal to get the wet stuff to homes in the Rio Verde Foothills that rely on hauled water.

They also proposed their own plan centered on private water company EPCOR providing water to the city, which would then sell it to the homeowners in the area.
