The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors adopted the 2026 primary and general elections plan during its June 24 meeting.
The plan includes having 237 voting centers open for the primary elections from June 24 through July 21, and up to 260 voting centers open for the general election from Oct. 7 through Nov. 3.
The plan also includes having more than 3,500 poll workers for early voting, emergency voting and Election Day, approximately 600-800 to staff election boards, and more than 600 permanent county staff to support election operations by working at Vote Centers, ballot drop-off locations, receiving centers, supporting setup operations, and providing Election Night support in the warehouse as well as counting early ballots dropped off at voting locations.
