In a letter and a set of documents issued this week, the Maricopa County recorder issued a detailed and scathing rebuke of Attorney General Mark Brnovich and his assertions about the 2020 elections.
Recorder Stephen Richer wrote a nine-page letter to Brnovich refuting the AG’s April 6 letter that details, among other things, lack of cooperation in providing documentation.
County Board of Supervisors Chair Bill Gates, along with Richer and the other supervisors, signed the letter. That group took questions Wednesday in the board’s meeting room, pointing out the county has cooperated fully with all of the AG’s records requests.
