Maricopa County offers free dog vaccinations, microchips on Jan. 13

Maricopa County Animal Care & Control is bringing back Care on the Go on Saturday, offering free services to help keep pets healthy and in their homes.

In March 2022, MCACC conducted its first Care on the Go event when nearly 1,000 pets received free services such as vaccines, microchips and licensing, according to a release.

“It was clear by the turnout we had last year that there is a need for this in our community,” Kim Powell, communications supervisor, said. “We’re excited to offer this free event not only in January, but two more times in early 2024 as well.”

From 9 a.m. until noon Jan. 13, MCACC will be offering rabies vaccinations and  licensing at no cost.  Petco Love also is sponsoring DA2PP vaccines, and microchips will be available for dogs thanks to #LovePup Foundation.

This drive-thru style event at 2901 W. Durango St. is for dogs only.

Register online before Jan. 11. Limit two dogs per household.
