Maricopa County is allocating $7.5 million towards career education programs

Maricopa County is allocating more than $7.5 million in federal funding for the county’s community college system and Mesa public education.

Nearly $6.4 million alone will be used through the county’s community college system for training and employment opportunities. The county announced the move earlier this week.

According to the press release, funding aims to provide students in approved programs with career training, education and career navigation.
