The economic trends for Maricopa County this year is a mixed bag of good and bad news.
Anubhav Bagley, regional analytics director with Maricopa Association of Governments, presented a report and analysis of current trends in the economy, real estate transactions and housing affordability across the region to Scottsdale’s Council Subcommittee on Dec. 14.
Maricopa County has attracted large business thanks to the work of economic development agencies, which has diversified the economy. However, the unemployment rate just turned higher than the United States to 4.1%.
