Maricopa County purchased an office building in Phoenix for $11.3 million.
Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale of Elevate at Dunlap, a four-story, 93,661-square foot single tenant office building located at 2233 W. Dunlap Ave. The center was unoccupied at the time of sale.
The property was acquired by Maricopa County and the seller was D23, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, according to Cushman & Wakefield, which has a Phoenix office at 2555 E. Camelback Road, Suite 400.
“Maricopa County acquired this facility for a regional public health function to greater serve its efforts within the county. We are excited to understand this asset will eventually be home to several hundred county employees which is vital to re-energize the Metro Center submarket,” Cushman & Wakefield Senior Director Michael Kitlica stated.
Elevate at Dunlap was built in 1988 but completed a multi-million-dollar renovation several years ago. The asset is situated on more than six acres and features a two-story parking garage and is also located across from a light rail stop on Dunlap Avenue.
The location is also surrounded by several major office tenants along with the highly anticipated billion-dollar renovation of the former Metro Center Mall.
