Maricopa County Attorney’s Office selects SUSD’s Chaparral High for mentorship program

Chaparral High School selected by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office as an exclusive partner school for its high school mentorship program.

Each school year, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office selects two high schools across the region to participate in this partnership. Chaparral secured the spot following a competitive selection process that included faculty interviews and an on-site showcase walk through of the school’s classroom environment, according to a press release.

Through this collaboration, practicing legal professionals will visit Chaparral classrooms monthly. Students will receive direct mentorship from prosecutors, investigators and victim advocates who will share their personal career journeys, break down complex, professional experiences, and discuss real-world, high-profile cases.
