Maricopa Community Colleges grapple with technology outage

For days, Maricopa Community Colleges have experienced a system-wide technology outage they say is the result of a cyber attack. Now, the district is working to slowly get its technology up and running once again.

Students have been unable to access emails or contact professors since the system went down, and a March 22 meeting of the Maricopa County Community College District governing board was postponed because of the connectivity outages.

In a statement, MCCCD said progress is being made every day to get students back to learning.
