Marian Emily Dugger, 77Marian Emily Dugger, 77, of Apache Junction since 1973, passed away at her home on Saturday, Jan. 13, after a lengthy illness. Ms. Dugger was born to Walter Jennings Pollock and Florence Merle (Griffin) Pollock in Dallas, Texas on March 16, 1929. After struggling most of her life with mania and depression, she was diagnosed bipolar in 1994. Living with the disorder, Marian experienced changes in her life, including reaffirming her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout her life she was always ready to help others in their struggles, giving out of her poverty.Ms. Dugger is survived by her brother, Walter E. Pollock of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Wanda Johnson and her husband David of Stillwater, Okla. and Kitty Koon of Sandpoint, Idaho; two sons, Clint Dugger of Apache Junction, and Monsa Dugger and his wife Cathy of Wichita, Kan.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her very close friend Ronnie Wilkins, who she considered a son.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleo Monsa "Red" Dugger; and a daughter, Vickie Ann Hinrich.A memorial service was held at Apache Junction Church of Christ at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16. Internment will be held 1 p.m. Jan. 23 at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa.
