Maggie Jeffus
12/28/1956 to 1/31/2022
With her husband and her son at her side Margaret “Maggie” Jeffus passed peacefully on January 31, 2022 in Glendale, Arizona.
Maggie was born to Lawrence and Rosemary Finney in Seattle, Washington and remained a lifelong resident of Seattle area until retiring and moving to Surprise, Arizona with her husband Steve in 2021. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Seattle in 1974 and pursued an education in health care.
A caregiver by nature, Maggie chose a career as a medical professional, spending nearly 40 years with Seattle Medical Associates, helping it become a highly respected and renowned medical practice. Driven by her passion for caring, Maggie strove every day to deliver extraordinary medical care to her patients; her compassion, caring and empathy touched the lives of so many patients, spanning generations.
Maggie met the love of her life Steve and shortly the two married at their home on Lake Tapps, Washington and remained madly in love until her last day on this earth. She loved gardening and design, boating and water skiing, entertaining and being surrounded by family and friends, but was never too busy to take the time to tend to a wound or nurture an ailing friend or relative. Maggie was a loving wife, a devoted mother and loved the Lord above all else. Anyone who met Maggie was touched by her kindness and caring as well as her never ending smiles and laughter.
Maggie is survived by her husband Steve, son Jacob, brothers Larry, Richard and John, sisters Kathy, Mary and Norma, as well as nephews Jason and Tyler and nieces Andrea, Aubrey, Roseanne and Lilly: as well as an abundance of friends and a long list of grateful patients. Maggie was truly a treasure to so many who knew and loved her. She will be sorely missed!
A private gathering will be held for Maggie in Surprise, Arizona; a celebration of Maggie’s life will be held in Seattle, Washington in the near future.
