Margaret Lydia Snyder

APACHE JUNCTION - Margaret L. Snyder, of Apache Junction, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, after a brief stay at Banner Hospice in Mesa, Ariz. She was born in Elgin, Ill., on April 13, 1920, to Frank and Lydia Brierly. She was a long term resident of Geneva, Ill., and was united in marriage to Frederick A. Snyder on July 13, 1940. Like so many of us, she and her husband were winter visitors to Arizona for many years before moving to Apache Junction permanently in 1989. She spent many of her years here residing at Rock Shadows RV Resort. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her only son, Donald of Apache Junction; grandchildren, Ian, Brianne, Adam and Faith; and great-grandchildren, Zane, Aiden and Zoie. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Cremation was handled by A Wise Choice in Mesa, Arizona and she will be along side her loving husband at the National Memorial Cemetary of Arizona in Phoenix.
