SUN CITY WEST, AZ - Margaret E. Costeswent to her eternal home on March 19, 2011. She was born in Buffalo, NY on June 23, 1920, the daughter of Benjamin and Cornelia Hawley. She attended Syracuse University, College of Fine Arts, and graduated with a degree in Music Education. She taught both vocal and instrumental music, including brass and woodwind band instruments. She directed church choirs and pageants. Margaret proudly served as a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star. After moving to Arizona she sang in the Symphonic Chorus and Desert Garden United Church's choir where she sang many soprano solos. Margaret is survived by her husband, Richard; two children; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011, at Desert Garden Church, 18818 N. 128th Ave., Sun City West, AZ 85375.
