A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old man, Scottsdale police said Sunday.
The arrest followed a search that began the evening of Saturday, Jan. 21, when police found the victim, Terrivonni Santana Williams, shot at an apartment complex near 70th Street and Palm Lane.
Wiliams was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.
Scottsdale detectives took over the investigation and worked to find the juvenile suspect, who was discovered in Pinal County on Sunday morning.
The suspect was taken into custody at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, by the Pinal County Regional SWAT Team, according to Scottsdale police.
