Man suspected of shooting up Laveen home indicted on 11 counts

A 33-year-old man has been indicted on multiple felony charges stemming from a January 2026 shooting in Laveen during which Christian Diaz Rendon died.

The indictment alleges Edgar Ledezma Garcia shot up a home near 75^th Avenue and Lower Buckeye in Laveen.

He then broke into the home and shot someone inside, according to a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
