Man shot, killed near north Phoenix bus stop; suspect arrested

A 31-year-old man is facing homicide charges as the suspect in the death of a man who was shot near a bus stop after an argument, Phoenix police said Saturday.
The shooting occurred about 11:30 p.m. May 31 at Tatum Boulevard and Union Hills Drive. Officers arrived and found Nathan Page, 49, suffering from a gunshot wound next to a bus stop. Page died at the scene.
Officers spoke to witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby convenience store that led them to the suspect, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

Officers spoke to witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby convenience store that led them to the suspect, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
Detectives took over the investigation and followed leads that led them to Arbron Mehaj, 31.
Detectives also secured search warrants and said they uncovered additional evidence and probable cause to book Mehaj into the Maricopa County Jail for second-degree murder, the release stated.
