Man shot, killed driving through Phoenix intersection: PD

A 28-year-old man was shot early Monday morning as he drove through the intersection of 48th Street and McDowell Road, Phoenix police said.

Police responded to the area about 2 a.m. Oct. 30 and found Tyler Langlais with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives said information suggests that Langlais was in his vehicle traveling through the intersection when he was struck with gunfire, but “at this time, investigators do not believe that was related to a road rage incident,” according to a release.

A 28-year-old man was shot early Monday morning as he drove through the intersection of 48th Street and McDowell Road, Phoenix police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
