Man sentenced to 5 years in prison for Gilbert e-bike robbery

A man who pleaded guilty to robbing a 12-year-old boy of his e-bike at gunpoint near Greenfield Junior High has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Dyllin Keys, 18, pleaded guilty to armed robbery, a Class 2 felony, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The robbery occurred Feb. 6 while the 12-year-old was riding his e-bike on a trail near Greenfield Junior High in Gilbert, prosecutors said.
