An Arizona man was sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to pay restitution for his role in an organized retail theft operation state officials said was responsible for $10 million in stolen merchandise.
Adam Polansky pleaded guilty in November to one count each of organized retail theft, trafficking in stolen property in the second degree and illegally conducting an enterprise. He was sentenced on Jan. 5 and ordered to pay $18,598.38 in restitution, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
Polansky was part of a wider group targeting various retailers throughout Maricopa County, according to a press release.
