Man sentenced 20 years for murder outside West Valley restaurant

A 22-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing a man who had just finished eating lunch at a West Valley restaurant, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office announced Friday in a release.

According to the release, in October o 2024, Roberto Trejo encountered 66-year-old Frank Vitale at a buffet near 99th Avenue and McDowell Road and was in the front seat of his car when Vitale was approached by Trejo.
