Man on motorized bike hits pole, dies at scene: Phoenix PD

A man died early Sunday morning after he crashed the motorized bike he was operating into a pole near 23rd and Washington streets, police said.

Phoenix detectives are continuing their investigation into the 2:10 a.m. Jan. 12 collision but preliminary information indicates the man, who was not identified, was riding the bike and heading west on the northside of Washington Street when he hit the pole.

The man died at the scene, and the bike was found nearby, police said.

A man died early Sunday morning after he crashed the motorized bike he was operating into a pole near 23rd and Washington streets, police said.
