A 48-year-old man was killed Friday in a homicide in west Phoenix, Phoenix Police said Monday in a release.
Officers responded at 2 a.m. June 19 to the area near 4500 West Weldon Avenue regarding a shooting, according to the release.
The caller reported that a man had been shot. When officers and fire personnel arrived, they found the man, later identified as Otis Sueing Jr., with gunshot injuries. Sueing Jr. was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
