Man indicted, suspected of stabbing mother, teen daughters in Mesa apartment

A grand jury has indicted 23-year-old Lowell Dorn for stabbing a mother and her two daughters multiple times in their Mesa apartment, Maricopa County officials said.

Dorn is charged with two counts of attempt to commit first-degree murder, one count of burglary and one count of aggravated assault, according to a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The incident occurred Sept. 17 near Dobson and Broadway roads, according to the indictment.

A grand jury has indicted 23-year-old Lowell Dorn for stabbing a mother and her two daughters multiple times in their Mesa apartment, Maricopa County officials said.

Dorn is charged with two counts of attempt to commit first-degree murder, one count of burglary and one count of aggravated assault, according to a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The incident occurred Sept. 17 near Dobson and Broadway roads, according to the indictment.

Dorn is being held on a $2 million cash only bond, which means he must pay the court the full amount in cash to be released, according to MCAO.

Trial is set for Jan. 27.
