Phoenix detectives are investigating a deadly Sunday night shooting outside a home in the 2800 block of West Minnezona Avenue, police said.

Officers arrived about 7:45 p.m. Jan. 5 near 28th Drive and Minnezona Avenue to find a man outside the home with a gunshot wound. He was not identified but was in his mid-30’s, police said.

People in the area told authorities that the suspect had left the scene of the shooting. No one has been detained, but detectives are following leads, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Silent Witness.
