Phoenix police identify man shot, killed in West Valley

A man is dead following a shooting Thursday morning near 35th Avenue and Earll Drive in Phoenix, police said.
Phoenix Police detectives are investigating the shooting after officers responded about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 30 and found Xavier Valenzuela, 32, with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
