A pedestrian died at a hospital following a crash this week near 91st and Highland avenues, police said.
Michael Cathcart, 40, was crossing 91st Avenue midblock at about 8:05 p.m. Sept. 25 when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver left the scene, but learned about the severity of the crash and authorities were contacted and interviews were conducted, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

A pedestrian died at a hospital following a crash this week near 91st and Highland avenues, police said.
Michael Cathcart, 40, was crossing 91st Avenue midblock at about 8:05 p.m. Sept. 25 when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver left the scene, but learned about the severity of the crash and authorities were contacted and interviews were conducted, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
The driver was released as the investigation continues, but impairment is not believed to be a factor, police said.
