Your Cosmic Connection, as the name implies, is the place to connect in the West Valley for spiritual growth and holistic healing.
The metaphysical supply store in Peoria, 9720 W. Peoria Ave. No. 108, recently celebrated one year under the new ownership of Lorraine Parra.
“I feel like I didn’t buy a store, I bought a community,” Parra said.
The shop was formerly known as The Place of Spiritual Wisdom.
Parra said her market is a sanctuary.
“I try to make it as simple as possible here, because it’s a hard time right now,” she said.
She said the metaphysical store and mystic market offers a curated selection of crystals, sacred tools, and herbal medicine from their apothecary, and specializes in heart-centered Reiki sessions, intuitive readings including tarot and runes, as well as plays host to meditation circles, and a variety of classes.
Your Cosmic Connection also completed its final spring wellness fair of the season May 2. The event culminated in a three month run with about 20 vendors offering a variety of items from crystals to crafts.
Robin Anderson is a vendor within the store and the wellness fair. She sells plant-based soaps, and has come to love the community that has grown around Your Cosmic Connection.
She said the fair has been a fun time to connect with people and be a part of a community of like-minded people.
“It is a very tight community and everyone is welcome and there are so many different classes. We are very spiritual, but we are not religious. Everyone is accepted,” she said. “As we like to say, we’ve found our tribe.”

Jen Burkard, a fourth-generation herbalist who sells her products at the fair, said her sales have benefited from the support of Your Cosmic Connection. Also known as Junebug, she offers more than 50 holistic herbal medicine products.
She worked for 25 years in corporate America and then got very sick and remembered her roots, she said. Now her products are in three stores and has had a hard time keeping up with the demand, Burkard said.
“I think that is because I have a lot of support at Your Cosmic Connection, and they just kept putting the word out for me,” she said. “This is a small business I started as a side hustle, and it has kind of taken over.”
