Make-A-Wish Arizona is asking the public's help to get more participants in everything from being a volunteer to helping fund a child's dream, according to a press release.
The group wants to recruit more participants to"inspire action and grant more wishes" to eligible Valley children, the press release stated.
Make-A-Wish Arizona needs donors, volunteers, corporate partners, small businesses and community leaders, according to the press release.
The effort is part of World Wish Month — where the organization hopes to recruit one million “wishmakers” to grant life-changing wishes for children who are suffering with fatal illnesses.
