Major south Chandler sewer project set to start in August

Even with dozens of multi-million-dollar services, purchases and projects approved by Chandler City Council each month, the $43 million contract council will likely approve at its May 23 meeting is a hefty sum.

Council already heard most of the details of the project from John Knudson, the city’s public works and utilities director, at a May 20 study session.

B&F Contracting Inc. could be approved on the May 23 consent agenda for a $43 million contract to rehabilitate a 66-inch-diameter sewer interceptor line that runs along Price Road from Loop 202 to Queen Creek Road.
