Major perks still in play for Valley homebuyers

Painting the interior and replacing a roof of a home for sale are a few perks homebuyers are enjoying in the Valley’s current buyer’s market, according to Tina Tamboer of the Cromford Report.

Single-family homes under $600,000 have seen a decline in price by 2% to 3% year-over-year, Tamboer said. The Valley transitioned to a buyer’s market last November after about eight months in a balanced market.

But now is the time to get extra concessions from sellers, the housing analyst said.
