Mothers Against Drunk Driving officials were in Sun City promoting their annual fundraising event.
Terri Bowen, MADD development officer, and Sofia Demarchi, program specialist, made a presentation at the Sun City Posse’s Aug. 2 general membership meeting. It included information about the organization, its core fundraising event and a call for help from Posse members.
MADD conducts a fundraising walk in multiple Arizona cities. This year “Walk Like MADD” is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive, Avondale, and Saturday, Nov. 5 at the University of Arizona Mall in Tucson.
