Macy’s Inc. today confirmed the closure of 66 Macy’s store locations, including store No. 459 at Superstition Springs Center in Mesa.
The store at 6535 E. Southern Ave. is to close as part of the business strategy to return the company to sustainable, profitable sales growth, according to a release.
The business will be closing approximately 150 underproductive stores over a three-year period while investing in its remaining 350 Macy’s locations through fiscal 2026.
