The answer to Charles Huss’s questions of why so many people want the recount yet again to end is not that we’re worried it’s not counted correctly (“If it’s fair, why not recount?” Daily Independent, May 5, 2021), that was done three times and came out fine all three times, and it was taken to court and no evidence of tampering or problems were found.

No, the answer is way more personal — our taxes are paying a minimum of $150,000 to some outfit from Florida to do some slip-shod recount which won’t affect the election anyway.

There’s not going to be 7 million votes that were missed!
