Lunchtime Theater offers artwork, acoustics and association

Nearly every seat was occupied to hear the smooth sounds of Cal’s Jazz Combo playing orchestral music for a Lunchtime Theater program, presented by the Surprise Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission.

Run by the West Valley Arts Council, what began nearly eight years ago has grown in popularity as attendees applauded the West Valley Symphony Jam session held March 16 at Arts HQ Gallery, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, Suite 102.

West Valley Symphony Music Director and Conductor Maestro Cal Stewart Kellogg on keyboard regaled the audience with a Smothers Brothers-like humor accompanied by Jeff Quomo on clarinet, Steve Anderson on bass guitar, and Robbie Carillo on drums.
