The Sun City West Lions Club continue a Christmas Eve tradition with the sale of luminarias.
Rain came down Dec. 24 last year in Sun City West, preventing people from putting out the lumunarias. This year, those unused luminarias will be placed in front of homes. Which means not as many people are purchasing the kits.
Tammy Cole, Sun City West Lions Club, said people are not buying this year and the numbers are down. However, the need for additional funds for Camp Tatiyee, which is 60 years old, to complete renovations are necessary.
